I'm really tempted to close this thread and my entire wiki right now. Clearly you people know how computer coding works. The only option would be for one of you to install a database with the extensions for me that would be unconnected to Miraheze. However, the chances of that being physically and technically possible are next to zero. There just aren't any free hosts out there that allow you to manage a wiki all yourself (except for maybe referata.com - which is missing features and they won't respond to my emails).

In that case, I might as well take my business elsewhere. I just don't know where, at this point. It's always been my dream to manage and run my own wiki, but I don't have enough technical or computer programming knowledge to download and install MediaWiki myself. Miraheze was the only MediaWiki host I could find that seemed to actually be legitimate - all others I looked at were either overrun (and possibly hacked) with spam, completely discontinued and malfunctioning, or just the very basic MW package with no extensions whatsoever.

OK, I understand. My thing is I would like to have a way to prevent a user from logging in on my wiki only. Also, why is the configure and site settings extensions being denied? Who cares if you are working on a similar one? When that one is complete, just replace the original with the new. I also have not heard any response on my UserGroups extension request.

Why are you just quoting labster now? I would never lock Stewards out unless they attempted to take over my wiki. You still haven't answered my question. HOW are those extensions a security threat - since they would only be accessible by myself and sysadmins/Stewards. No one that would wreck havoc with them will have access to them from the beginning.

Please enable the FlaggedRevs extension - make sure that it includes a "reviewer" user right assignable by admins. In terms of protections, I already have semi and full protection. However, I would like a template-namespace specific protection (similar to what Wikipedia has) and a admin assignable "template editor" user right. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:PINKLOCK if you don't know where I'm coming from. In terms of IP's, I'm not just talking about Tor. I want to be able to set a regular IP block as "block logged in users from editing from this address" in Special:Block, but then be able to exempt certain accounts from that action.
