I was told that "there is no default set for this in the population script, which implicitly sets it to false based on the extension." I therefore kindly request "that $wgRSSAllowImageTag gets switched to True for JW Meeting wiki, or that it be added as a configuration option in Managewiki."

As my Wiki is bible based, I can vouch for it that no inappropriate feeds will be used.

Kind regards,

While this is possible, the only issue would be that jw-cdn.org isn't in the CSP so browsers will decline to load the images even if we enable the setting in question. That domain will need to undergo a CSP review.

I have no idea what that means, and what it means for me?
Is that something I have to request somewhere, or that you do? or...

There's basically a list of websites that people visiting miraheze wikis are allowed to download things from, and that website is not in that list.

So, when browsers see that cms-imgp.jw-cdn.org isn't in that list, they'll refuse to display the image.

Thanks for the explanation :-)
So for me it means I have to just wait?

@Rodejong That website is now approved, you just have to wait for it to be added to the list (task T11776).

As for doing this when enabled, this setting has limited use in ManageWiki since users will very likely have to make a CSP review request, so maybe just set it to true for this wiki on LocalSettings.php?

This is now done.
